Jimmy Floyd Hasselbainksays what kind of players he wants to sign

Queens Park Rangers was competing in the Premier League during the 2014-15 season but after a disastrous campaign, they were relegated and are now fighting in the 2nd tier English League Championship.

QPR is attempting to make a return to the Premier League but at this point in time it’s just not going to happen.

The 2015-16 season is reaching it’s last few weeks and QPR are positioned in the middle section of the English League Championship standings and they are too far away from having any chance of snatching a play-off spot that can allow them to return to the Premier League.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is the head coach of QPR and he has recently talked about what he is planning to do in relation to transfers for the upcoming summer transfer window.

“With two more games this season, if you’re not already starting to plan for next year then you will have a big problem. You need to plan in advance. It is clear the direction we need. We have to have younger players, more assets in the club. We have to look at more players who are 23, 24 or 25. I’m not saying we shouldn’t sign a 30-year-old, but in the past few years too many players have come here to retire.” Jimmy Floyd Hassebaink said as he stated what kind of players he wants to sign.

The average age in the squad of Jimmy Floyd Basselbaink is 25 which is a fairly young team and from the looks of it, the 44 year old Dutch coach wants to keep it that way or turn it even into a younger squad with more explosive and youthful player in his team.

Even though getting promoted to the Premier League is not going to happen in this season for Queens Park Rangers, the manager already seems to know what to do for the upcoming campaign and hopefully make a return to the top tier English League.
