BORO DUO RULED OUT FOR QPR

Middlesbrough have been handed a double blow on the injury front ahead of their league encounter with London club Queens Park Rangers (QPR) this weekend. Boro manager Neil Warnock gave an injury update on his team ahead of this weekend in a chat with reporters.

In his pre-match presser ahead of the QPR game, Warnock revealed that two key players Dael Fry and Marcus Tavernier won’t be available for the Championship match. As a matter of fact, the two players won’t play again this season according to the former Cardiff City and Crystal Palace boss due to their respective injuries.

For Tavernier, he has appeared in just four games out of the last 16 matches for Boro. He missed several games as a result of a knee injury before picking up another injury when he recovered from the said knee issue. The player picked up a calf problem in the Championship match with Milwall and has not been seen since then. That Milwall game was played last month.
