English Championship side Queens Park Rangers (QPR) have completed the signing of highly rated defender Jake Clarke-Salter. The English centre back has joined QPR as a free agent after leaving West London giants this summer. The 24-year-old left the Blues at the end of his contract at the club. He has been at Chelsea at the age of eight. Clarke-Salter made just two first-team appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Clarke-Salter spent the just concluded season at English Championship side Coventry City. He was unable to propel the Sky Blues to finish in the playoff spot at least at the end of the regular season. Coventry City started the season well in the opening weeks of the season as they were inone of the playoff positions before results dropped later in the season. In the end, the Sky Blues finished the regular season in mid-table.

According to the QPR boss, Moroccan international Chair is fit for the Reading game billed for the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Saturday after he trained with his teammates on Friday.
Chair was on international duty with Morocco over the course of the last two weeks. Middlesbrough have been handed a double blow on the injury front ahead of their league encounter with London club Queens Park Rangers (QPR) this weekend. Boro manager Neil Warnock gave an injury update on his team ahead of this weekend in a chat with reporters.
In his pre-match presser ahead of the QPR game, Warnock revealed that two key players Dael Fry and Marcus Tavernier won’t be available for the Championship match. As a matter of fact, the two players won’t play again this season according to the former Cardiff City and Crystal Palace boss due to their respective injuries.
